Christa Donner is a graphic designer, art director and artist based in Newport Beach, California and Munich, Germany.
She studied graphic design in Salamanca (Spain), Hannover (Germany) and Sydney (Australia). Being half German and half American (with a bit of Mexican heritage) she has a rich cultural background and easily connects with different spheres. After having worked for many years in various advertising agencies and design studios throughout Germany, she decided to become a self-employed graphic design entrepreneur in 2014.
At the same time, Christa challenged herself by taking up painting again. She says it gives her the freedom “to explore and enjoy the impact of color, form and texture in a whole new way”. It comes as a natural and deeply fulfilling approach to expanding her creativity.
As a graphic designer, Christa specializes in corporate design, brand design, brand strategy and trade communication for print and online projects. Her approach is to bring clarity, simplicity and beauty to each project, connecting with and bringing out the essence of each business she designs for. She works for national and international clients from various sectors: fashion, beauty, culture, finance and business.
